Unlike the national art museum, the Bourse' collection contains more older works and decorative arts. It also has a strong section of non-western art, including Asian and African. It even has an Egyptian mummy. The building is heavily gilded and decorated, as befits its previous...More

We were surprised and delighted by this building and its contents - all beautifully displayed with many of the article descriptions in English as well as in Latvian. No major works, but a selection of art through the ages. The grumpy staff are off-putting, so...More

On a rainy day we entered this exhibition to be surprised as well as the quality and diversity of the works as of the building itself. Absolut recommendation

Great place to go and see some quality traditional art. Personally I found it boring but I prefer modern art.

The museum had great exhibitions. The building itself was gorgeous and offered a beautiful view of the Dome square through the balcony window. There was a wide collection of items.
