We took the 12pm tour which wasn't advertised as an 'alternative' tour but turned out to skip all the old town sights. Since we were only in Riga for a couple of days we didn't want to do more than one walking tour and left a little disappointed after this one. There was a very, very incredibly brief summary of... The tour was very informative with lots of fun facts and stories about the city and different monuments around it. I don't really care for history and neither does my husband, but we both really enjoyed this tour! We even learned a lot of things about the city that our Latvian friends didn't know. Overall it was a fun and... More

We started this tour outside the Cathedral. Met with a young lady LAURA. She gave so much information regarding the history of Latvia and Riga and took us for a walking tour for 2 hours around the most historical parts of Latvia. We got to learn about the wooden buildings and the got the visit the Market also which was... More

This tour takes you out of the Old Town of Riga and shows you a side and a history of the city that you would otherwise miss. Our guide was very well informed and enthusiastic about what she was sharing with us and answered many questions from the group. The tour is quite far - you are walking for 2.5... More

Great walking tour seeing the alternative places in Riga. Our guide was clearly passionate about her city and told us lots about the history. 2.5 hours walk so don't do it if that's not for you! But we loved it!

This tour is well worth it. It starts at 12 midday outside st Peters and takes about 3 hours so wear good footwear. The tour takes you away from oldtown as quickly as possible into the central markets, through the Moscow district and shows you the parts of riga you probably wouldn't go on your own. Our guide was kaspars... More

This is a wonderful introduction to Riga. The guide is quite excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed his humour and the very useful and fascinating information given.

My grandpa and I joined the tour on a really ugly and foggy winter day - and yet Anna, our amazing tour guide turned a freezing cold tour into a fun, interesting and worthwhile experience! 2,5 hours, just enough to get a taste of the most important things to know both history and life-style wise. Highly recommended!

Kaspars (really hope the name is written like this) explains you the history of Latvia in a way that you can easily learn enjoying. The tour doesnt follow the typical places (what actually you will visit yourself for sure) but takes you to places and stories that you wont discover without local advice. Also to notice that Kaspars speaks a... More

We did the old town tour and the suburbia tour. I have to say We enjoyed both of them and would recomend them both. Garpars at 12:00pm in the suburbia and Thomas 11:00am in the old town were excellent. Both start on St Peters entrance in the old town. Thank you.
