The AHHAA centre is definitely my favorite place to go in my free time and I am a local. I visit them at least a few times a year thanks to various visiting exhibitions and constantly improving permanent exhibition. A lot of fun for all ages for hours!

The key attraction in Tartu not only for children. It's worth to visit the centre and experience the magic of science. To visit full exposition including planetarium dedicate 2-3 hours. You might need more if plan to visit special shows in both Estonian and English. Exposition presented in Estonian, English, Russian and Latvian. Great location just a few steps from... More

We have been there with a family of four numerous times. I dare to share three tips. 1. Keep at hand 1 euro coin and take a locker. Bigger lockers are behind the clothes racks next to the shop 2. If you want to eat lunch at their cafeteria, keep in mind that they tend to run out of food... More

Bored of visiting historical sites. Want to do some activity and have fun. AHHAA is fun for everyone. Things there inspire you. You can stay for hours and hours. You feel how science can make the impossible possible. Lots of games, tricks, illusions, experiments. Games in all fields, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Art, Humanity, etc ... A good place for curious children and grown ups. One of the best science centres in Estonia. A lot of funny, interesting and educative rooms and experiments. Really enjoyed the experience of visiting this place.

A friend and I, both 30, spent about 2 hours trying different puzzles, learning about science, playing on the exhibits, losing ourselves in the hall of mirrors, and generally having fun.

We had a very great time here. Funny moments when your brain and body fulls you, exciting moments when you have to go through your fears and sad moments when 1/3 of all experiments is broken or under construction. In general we still liked it :)

Very good entertainment center. There is plenty to do and to learn. Better to plan many hours there, especially if you are with kids.
