It was nice to see this place, but as a tip - - - You could give more information of Tallinn history during the last centuries - - - there are so many interesting stories to tell to us tourists...

Tallinn is one of the few cities that really still have wall surrounding almost entire old town and wall being in good shape. You get good view over the city also. If you don't pay and walk on the top, from intersection Viru and Müürivahe...More

The cost of this is 3 euros each and there are a number of steep steps with narrow walls to navigate. The walk along the way gives great views of the city but it was very slippery as it had snowed the night before. Not...More

A well-preserved old wall circulates the old town. Inside the town hall and the market in front of it. Along the wall, there are day-to-day crafts shops.

Lots of craft stalls along the wall, many of them selling similar things. No paintings when we visited. People are very helpful and you can bargain. Nice presents.

The entry fee without the Tallinn card is 3 Euros for an adult. The climb up to the highest part of the tower gets quite narrow, and it is ideal that you have both hands available to support yourself up the high and narrow stairs....More

Wall is nice and interesting. The man giving the tickets (if gives at all as he seems to enjoy collecting money without receipt) is rude, does not greet or thanks for the purchase.

Some parts of the wall is market areas. At some parts artist have put up their paintings for sale. We didn't go up on the wall for the views but saw many people doing that. All in all its quite picturesque.

There are a lot of the original town wall left and we spent a lot of time walking along it. The walls are amazing and in pretty good shape! I suggest getting off the beaten path and walking along them!

Walk alongside or, in place, on top of the ancient city wall, which still rings most of the city. It also hosts some interesting market stalls, with parks and flower gardens on the outer side.

We had a bus ride from the ferry to downtown. It was included with our tour but it is a very walkable and compact city. It's a great place to pick up hand made gifts at any price range.

There are free bits and bits that have a small charge. We paid for a small section because there were other things to see there,. You just need to wander around the town and everthing is clearly signed and you just stumble... More
