Some parts of the wall is market areas. At some parts artist have put up their paintings for sale. We didn't go up on the wall for the views but saw many people doing that. All in all its quite picturesque.
There are a lot of the original town wall left and we spent a lot of time walking along it. The walls are amazing and in pretty good shape! I suggest getting off the beaten path and walking along them!

There are free bits and bits that have a small charge. We paid for a small section because there were other things to see there,. You just need to wander around the town and everthing is clearly signed and you just stumble... More
