Overview
More
The view from Tallinn TV Tower is unique in Estonia as well as in all of Northern Europe. Under your feet are the woods of Muuga. The captivating Tallinn Old Town and the glistening Baltic Sea in all of its majestic glory are off in the distance. When Estonia was still behind the Iron Curtain, this was for many Estonians a window on the free world - at night one could even catch sight of the lights of Helsinki. To illustrate the view, visitors can use multimedia screens: to increase the area visible in it or seeing what the place looked like in the past. It is a view that must be seen. And - experienced! Bus information The TV Tower is served by city buses 34A, 38 and 49 ("Teletorn" stop), as well as by CityTour and City Sightseeing tourist buses (green line, Mere pst - Teletorn). Handicapped-accessible.

You can see the tower from downtown and it is worth to visit. By taka it takes about 20 minutes fron city center. Nice views. In clear day you can see all the way to Finland. Downstairs russian style museum display from 60-70 era.

First time here, and it was well worth it. Nicely done with lots of information about Estonia. There are spots where you can stand on a transparent floor and look all the way down. Outdoor terrace also. Nice gift shop and cafe too.

Not recommended for those afraid of high places. Those with courage may try "The walk on the edge", safeguarded by an instructor. My wife did not even dare to watch it, even if behind a safe fench.

A TV tower in itself is not a really exciting thing to see. But if you're going to Tallinn, google "Singing Revolution" and learn how Estonia liberated itself from the USSR. Not a shot was fired, but the Estonians stood up to the USSR and...More

The Tallinn TV Tower is an amazing attraction. I visited for the 2018 BASE Jump Boogie. The attraction is Spread over many floors and super interactive for both abuts and children. Definitely worth a visit.

Stopped here as part of a bus tour. Saw this tower from the ship, and wondered what it was. It is so tall. And was not taken over by the Soviets during the "revolution" in 1991. It is a scenic drive out to see it....More

Hello! Taxi shouldn't cost more than 15 € to get here from downtown. Though, as its been said, you might want to consider coming by bus 34A/38 which will take you exactly in front of the tower :)
