The building itself is a unique piece of military architecture and engineering, so make sure you study the history of the shell roof when you get there. The museum itself is super-cool with many things being interactive, and they run frequent guest exhibitions from all over the world. Also, they are located at the heart of one of the most... More

Very informative maritime museum. The submarine exhibit is excellent. It's not that far out of town, we walked it, but the bus fares are so cheap its easy to hop on and off the bus which stops right outside.

The transformation of Lennusadam into what it is today, is in itself something to see. The changing displays are well thought out and interesting.

We used out Tallinncard to both travel out by bus and gain admission. There was plenty to see and do there and as we wanted to spend the afternoon outside in the beautiful weather we limited ourselves to about 2 hours. The centrepiece is the Lebnitz pre WW2 submarine which can be explored from stem to stern. The silliest thing... More

We were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed the museum. There was English throughout. It included a tour of a submarine, boats, guns, planes and movies. A chance to fly an airplane simulator, a rescue boat simulator and a virtual reality walk on the ice. Different exhibits are tailored for different ages. The exterior portion includes ships that can... More

This museum is just that bit different from the usual. The name 'Seaplane Harbour' is perhaps a bit of a misnomer as visitors may be expecting to see floatplanes/flying boats, when in fact there is only one small floatplane hung from the ceiling, but this doesn't detract from the interesting exhibits on display. You can board a genuine WW2 Submarine... More

This place will be interesting for both adults and kids. An interactive exhibition is telling about the sea history of Tallinn. The main attraction is the real submarine which stands right in the building. You can go inside of it and listen about a life of underwater sails men with a help of a special box with buttons in 4...
