The Town Hall Pharmacy is the oldest in Europe, operating since 1422! But, that's not why we went...we needed an ace wrap for my husband's swollen ankle. The pharmacy had several brands from which to choose, and we could pay with a credit card.

This is a fascinating place to visit. Some really old stuff is on display. One bottle was labeled 'dragon nails' but unfortunately I could not see the nails clearly. There was also a jar with a partly grated horse hoof. Interesting indeed. Worth a visit.

This is the oldest and still working pharmacy in the world. It is an interesting place to visit with lots of history and artifacts to see. It is right at the edge of the centre of the town square.

Coming from a pharmacy employment years ago it was like revisiting how we did things then not now! Really enjoy spending time browsing here, almost wished I had a cold so I could order some senega & ammonia!
