This is one of the oldest aphothecaries in Europe. The history is fascinating provided by pictures, actual artifacts and descriptions.

This is an antique apothecary, in a lovely old building. I believe this is one of the oldest drug stores in Helsinki. It is a museum of old medicines and interesting information.

The apothecary is easy to find since it is off the main square, opposite the town hall. It is worth a quick peek (and interesting especially to kids) if you walk by. However, no big miss if you do not have time.

Free to visit. Not huge but a trip down memory lane, similar to old British pharmacies. Everything was in it's original state.

Interesting old building with a good set of exhibits explaining the history of the shop. It is busy as it is on all the tourist trails but worth visiting.

Loved entering it and seeing first the interior of a historic building from the age, and then there is a nice exhibition room to which entrance is free of charge, with some apothecary equipment and good information sheets. Cannot be compared to Pharmacy museum in...More

Read all the descriptions! Entrance is free of course, and you can read and listen/watch about the history of the building. It still works as a pharmacy, so you can buy medicines there. It is in the center, and it will take 10 mins of...More
