This jumble of 14th- and 15th-century architecture with its medieval walls, needling spires and twisting, cobblestone streets is also the site of many of the city's important historic attractions and museums including the House of the Brotherhood of the Blackheads, St. Catherine's Guild and the 15th-century Guildhall that now houses the History Museum.

The streets are very small and go in all directions. We were surprised to find that it was very short distances in the Old Town, and as long as you like walking, you can walk everywhere. There is not that many places to do much...More

Took the opportunity to visit while in the area on business, as the annual Christmas Market was on. It’s one of the few 13th century walled towns still standing - originally with 66 towers apparently, with 26 still standing along with 1.85km of the original...More

We were there for a short 1 night stay and I have to say the town was truly beautiful with the old architectures. I'm sure we would appreciate it a lot more if there were guided tours. The bells ringing on Sunday morning was music...More

The organ music in the church was celestial and spiritual. It was still ringing in my ears after I left the old town.

A fantastic old town, with quaint cobbled streets, old and beautifully preserved buildings complete with many information plaques. Great streets to wander around, plenty of places to eat and drink, gazillions of souvenir shops, and an excellent Christmas market. Perfect

Tallinn is about the equivalent to the uk to eat out, there is a restaurant called Meat and wine that did a really good steak offer and the food was fab. Also Hell Hunt pub is reasonable for beer and very friendly
