This is mostly new build but is a comprehensive market with a creative quarter around.adjacent to the main Tallinn railway stn and the trams to Kopli run past it

We rented an apartment a few blocks from here, so this market is perfect for our needs. Outside of the Central market there are hundreds of vendors selling all kinds of clothes, fruits, spices, and vegetables. I did not see any touristy kitsch. Our first...More

This market hall is so pretty so see and offers a big choice of different stuff. You can find here food, souvenirs and even books in russian language. It got renovated just a few years ago. The prettiest market hall I´ve visited.

We spent over 2 hours here and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The fresh fruit, vegetables, berries & mushrooms were of excellent quality yet moderately priced. Similarly, the meat market had a great variety of fine cuts at good prices. Lastly, we have to mention the...More

It´s a marketplace, mostly run by Russian minority living in Estonia. For me it has always been a exotic place with bazar-like feeling, good pirukas (Pirozhki, bun with meat/gabbage) and cheap shopping. It´s not a pleasant place for everyone, since it´s very run down full...More

I took the tram from Jaama Turg and took off very close to this market area. Most of the farmers and sellers was closed during my visit, unfortunately. However. I enjoyed the time and continued my walk to the City centre.

After visiting many Russian markets found this one not to be of the kind we had expected. It appears an excellent location for the local people to buy their everyday goods but for tourists looking for unusual souvenirs, this is not for you. If you...More

If you have never been to Russia then here is your safe opportunity. Place is dirty, smelly and you can buy all sorts of cheap crap. Food department makes you feel like puking and not wanting to eat for a week
