Well worth a 15 minute wander. The staff were happy to provide leaflets etc, but limited English skills. Plenty of written English in the leaflets. An interesting church.

You'll get some nice pictures here. Beautiful architecture and lots of history. You can climb the tower. The young man at the desk was most helpful and very fluent in English. Ask him your questions about anything Estonian. It is on your way climbing up...More

It is worth a quick stop, to climb the steeple, into the bell tower. 1 or 2 euros, gets you a climb to the top, and nice views of the town. Nice locals running the church.

If in Rakvere do go by the church. And DO pay the one euro admittance fee to climb the church tower. The climb I nice not to hard or steep. You will be rewarded with a a nice view of the Rakvere castle.

Thank GHWrede
