Though very used to this landscape, I thought the park is amazing. If you have the time, spend some hours there, even a day, and explore it. Sunset and sunrise are even nicer. The only remark: the long gravel road (but in good conditions), that gives access to the park.

We booked the Wilderness day trip which included a transfer from and to our hotel. We got Wellingtons, bog shoes, a lunch package and a canoe. Actually it was a surprise to me that you can drink that water there. We were at Hüpassaare and there are 2 lakes where you can swim. Great! Koordinaadid Long-Lat WGS 84 x:25.271756 y:58.530385

Another national park in Estonia, worth to visit - good aquantaince with the northern untouched flora and fauna, swamps and little eyes of lakes.

We visited Soomaa National Park independently and done a trail. Almost untouched nature, fantastic flooded meadows, forests and impressive bogs. In summer just be aware if you are allergic to insect bites.

We spent a couple of days here and managed to fit in a fabulous evenings canoeing looking for beavers... plenty of evidence of them but they remained hidden but didn't detract from the fabulous trip with excellent guides from Soomaa.com, the next day we fit in another tour with these excellent people which involved a trip to the NP headquarters...
