Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

These are beautiful gardens which are excellent for a leisure stroll.
THere's a lovely musical fountain in the middle of the gardens.

What a beautiful park!

Right next to the square and cathedral - lovely walks through the park and trees which look amazing in autumn colours. Access to the steps up to castle hill and the tower. Looks like it would be wonderful to walk in and sit and drink coffee in the summer.

Pretty park across from our hotel. Very pleasant place to have a respite from sightseeing. Felt quite French somehow, and good for people watching and plenty of benches to sit on. There was an ice cream vendor at the park entrance we used and we enjoyed a tub or two watching the world go by - how old are we!!

Bernardine Garden is situated right in the heart of Vilnius. One special section of the park is the botanical exhibition, which commemorates the Vilnius University Botanical Gardens that once grew here in the 18th century and were the largest in Eastern Europe. Bernadine Garden is also home to the oldest oak tree in Vilnius, which is approximately 400 years old!

After visiting the St Anne’s Church, I proceeded with my walk and came accross this attraction. It was a Folks Festivals Event and there was a series of presentations at the stage wnere particpants dressed in their national attires sang, danced and played musical instruments.

Also present are artisans selling their creations: metllurgy, wood works, jewelries, ceramics, hats, dresses, etc.

Around these gardens are trees, shrubs, flowereing plants, benches and tables, portable toilets etc. I enjoyed my visit here

Very nice gardens to wander through. They were lit by old fashioned street lights and it had snowed which made it even nicer. It was lovely to have a slow stroll in a quite area.

Established in 1469 by the Bernardine monks, this beautiful area is probably the oldest park and botanical garden in Vilnius. It’s located in the Old Town, on the right bank of the Vilnius River. Lots of park benches, which allow visitors to soak up the marvellous ambience!

Very easy to access as it’s just between Cathedral Square and St. Anne’s Church. Admission free.

It's a great park in the heart of the city. We've been here in the warmer months too - it's beautiful. In winter it's sometimes slippery, but still beautiful.

We walked in this park twice and I would have been here every day of our stay if our schedule permitted. Coffee nearby, lovely cafe, tennis matches to watch, carousel for children, fountains, flowers along well-tended paths, etc.
