We have spent most of our time walking around the old time and as long as you stay in the main areas, it's definitely worth an afternoon having a wander and enjoying the local bars. There isn't much off the beaten path!

Don't expect a myriad of small streets and alleyways - in effect it is one long street with a few interesting smaller streets running off it.

Vilnius old town is probably one of the most cozy old towns' in whole europe. There aren't like planty of things to do but you just can take a cup of coffee, explore the old town and enjoy the comfortness.

This is the place to be and yes I would recommend. To be fair, didn't find it spectaculaire, but it's the place to be when visiting Vilnius.

Vilnius old town is a truly great area. Unlike Tallinn, it is far more a part of the everyday life of the city. I find it to be one of the absolutely more interesting places that I have visited. A wealth of great coffee bars,...More

Taxi would only take you 10-15 mins from the Vilnius Airport and there are plenty to see, especially the Old Town - which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
