This one is one of the many churches of Vilnius. This church has a different look; it looks good in night.

This church is stunning. It looks the most Russian to me with the onion domes. Definitely stop in to take a look and step out so you can take some pictures outside as well.

If my information is correct, this is the only renaissance church in Vilnius. After restaurantion this church was first a museum of architecture, but now it is the Church Heritage Museum (including the treasury of Vilnius cathedral), which costs about 5€.

The church contains art and vestments from the churches throughout Lithuania and has some truly wonderful mediaeval statues including carved wooden figures of German, Moslem and Jewish men beside the usual christian iconography. Of interest is the story of the group finding the "lost" gold...More
