Amber is everywhere is Lithuania, so why not learn a bit about it? A small, compact display in the basement with a larger shop on the main floor. Easy to miss, so make sure you have good directions!

Exotic and reasonable price in compare to other tourist shops. Also the salesperson is friendly and speak somehow good English which is hard to find in city.

Very interesting to see all the different colours of amber. The guide was informative and helpful in answering questions. The museum is down quite a steep set of stairs so might not be easy to access for everyone.

Having traveled to many Eastern European countries and Russia, this museum did nothing for me. It is tiny, and in my opinion, had nothing special to offer.
