Nice trip from the bottom to the top of the hill, more than 100m trip by this old funicular, part of the Kaunas history. 0,70 cent x trip, you can pay at the top station. Suggestive, wooden wagon. It takes a few minutes. Useful to...More

Not very far but worth going up as at the top you can then visit a church with a viewing platform on the roof. Costs 70 cents to go up, you simply jump on a pay at the top.

I like funiculars and this one was fun too. They are like taken from the story and time long left behind and bring back impressions of those old days we could not witness. Still if you are not sentimental in this way it is just...More

Vintage style funicular with polite staff and reasonable pricing worth taking up the hill to see Kaunas from Christ resurrection church roof or have lunch in Kuhne restaurant.

The funicular is one of Kaunas unique object because city center is in the lower part and another part of the city is built on top of the hill. The funicular is like a train, but it's going on top of the hill, this is...More
