It was a short walk from the Funicular nearby that takes you there. A highly visibly white church above all in Kaunas. We went up the elevator to the top for a little over two euros and there was another floor up there. A wonderful...More

If you want some city views and you do not want to go to panorama in Aleksotas, try the roof of this church. You'll have to pay (it's not expensive, and you can choose - elevator or stairs) for getting up there, but it's a...More

This modern and very large church is worth the diversion - the lazy way being by the historic funicular. The views from the terrace are magnificent. Like many Kaunas churches it has only come back to the Christians since the departure of the Russians.

You can see the church from a lot of places in Kaunas, it's very nice, yet simple at the same time. You can reach the rooftop and enjoy the beautiful panorama of Kaunas.

A pretty simple white church, but very interesting to see it among all the other old churches. It's recommended to visit the rooftop (you have to buy a ticket), it's a good photo opportunity. It's a short walk from the city centre, and you can...More

This basilica was conceived as a monument to thank God after Lithuania gained its first independence. Apparently the building was used as a factory by the Soviet government, but now it is fully consecrated and open to the public. From the bottom of the hill,...More
