The best view in Kaunas. If you want to take overview pictures or the city - this is the place to go. They will charge for the elevator, but most normally fit people are able to cope with the stairs. The church itself is quite...More

Church itself is beautiful with great organ but the view from up top is way overrated and way too expensive in my opinion. Not worth 4.50 to take the elevator.

One of the best view points in Kaunas, I took the little funicular to the church. It was a bit of a shock after seeing many orthodox churches that are excessively decorated (though truly beautiful) this church felt huge and empty. It's quite minimalist inside...More

It was a short walk from the Funicular nearby that takes you there. A highly visibly white church above all in Kaunas. We went up the elevator to the top for a little over two euros and there was another floor up there. A wonderful...More

Towering above the landscape, you'd be hard pushed not to notice the Church. It stand in quite a commanding position over the city. it a huge building but its only a church afterall

This modern and very large church is worth the diversion - the lazy way being by the historic funicular. The views from the terrace are magnificent. Like many Kaunas churches it has only come back to the Christians since the departure of the Russians.

The vew from the top of the terrace is nice and you can see the whole city. Unfortunatelly, it´s not covered so it´s not the best place to visit when it´s raining.

The church itself is simple and beautiful. Just a tranquil environment. When you enter the church (follow the arrows to the entrance) there will be an attendant in the gift shop/ where you can buy tickets to go to the terrace; 90 cents via stairs...More

You can see the church from a lot of places in Kaunas, it's very nice, yet simple at the same time. You can reach the rooftop and enjoy the beautiful panorama of Kaunas.
