Many well preserved buildings contribute to a fine atmosphere for a quiet walk. Welcoming to pedestrians.

It definitely deserves to be visited. Nice city centre, beautiful for walking or shopping in the small and typical shops. Full of nice and good restaurants or coffee shops. Pedestrian area, interesting. It worth a visit.

AS Kaunas is not a tourist destination, it is obvious that the local council do not wish to invest. The area could easily be much better with some money spent. Some quaint buildings and a very nice Basilica.

Kaunas is worth to visit. One should take time and walk in the old town to see and feel the memorable past of it.
