This museum is all about devils. All kinds from all countries are presented here. Especialy the first level is nice. Dozens of devils are present next to pancartes with explanations AND legends and stories about devils, trolls, witches, and so on .. Normal adult price is 2€ with free vestiare.

We had never expected that there was so many different Devils out there. In all sizes and forms it can only be recommended.

There are over 3,000 depictions of the devil from all over the world in this wonderful museum. I really enjoyed looking at them all, and seeing similarities and differences in how the devil is interpreted. Equally as interesting, though, was the chance to look around the adjoining house of the man responsible for starting up the museum, the Lithuanian artist,... More

Well, it's definitely unique because of it's specialty - devils. You can expect to see lots of versions of what supposed to be a devil for people. Experience puts you back in the old days, when people lived believing these things.

When in Kaunas and the weather is not the best, you don´t have many options except visiting some museums. This one was actually very interesting since it contains more than 3 000 different devils from all over the world. I really enjoyed it.

This museum began as a hobby by one of Lithuania's best known painters. One floor is devoted to devil images from Lithuania, another from around the world. The hallways have fascinating paintings by a British artist who lives in Kernave. The head of the museum gave me some background on it all. For example, during the Communist era, statues of... More

There is a 2 euro entrance fee for adults. There is a cloakroom where you can leave your bags. You can take photographs in most of the rooms. There were cabinets in the foyer with items for sale, such as mugs, cigarette lighters , badges and figures. The collection was started by Antanas Zmuidzinavicius in 1906, starting with a wooden... I didn't know what to expect. The museum was filled with statues, masks and paintings. Not scary but intriguing to think about what the sculpture was trying to portray. A guide would help to explain exhibits.
