one of the main routes into the old town area, very quaint, with a choice of bars and restaurants. A number of side streets off here to explore as well

We were on our way from budapest to vienna and got off at Bratislava for about 3 hours. We took a city tour bus ( 10 euros per person ) and it took us to the opera house- old city - new city and back...More

We wandered up the street whilst taking in the sights of the city and stopped for a coffee in one of the cafes down this street. The views are great, lots of people watching, nice views of the Gate and a great bustling atmosphere.

A sight to be admired from afar, the tower is not open to tourists. Rather, it serves as a historic and beautiful landmark terminus of Michalska St., which is rife with fine eateries, shops, historic sites, and ... our hotel!
