Historic neighborhood filled with charming narrow lanes, burgher's houses and nobles' palaces in addition to many of the city's important buildings such as the former Palace of the Hungarian Estates, the late-Gothic building of the Academia Istropolitana and the Leopold de Pauli Palace where Franz Liszt performed as a child.

After the castle this is a nice walk in the town. There are surprisingly not many shops, more bars, restaurants and coffee shops. And of course some museums. You can also get a guided tour, what I would recommend if like to know more of...More

A delightful way to spend an evening in Bratislava is just to stroll the streets of "Old Town". The shops and cafes are all very scenic and friendly. Give yourself time - the old town seems small but is full of small places to explore...More

This city's Old Town is tidy and compact. It's not the grandest, biggest or best Old Town in Europe, but it does have plenty of character and many fantastic photo opportunities. It's relatively small and can easily be covered in under two days. Certainly worth...More

Very nice with plenty of old buildings. Great place to walk and explore the city. You can also enjoy a cup of coffee in the many side walk cafes available. Try staying in a hotel nearer to the centre, as there where the soul is.

Was only there for a few hours on a boat trip from Vienna but it was a very pleasant experience. Restaurants can be expensive on the main tourist streets but head off into the back streets and real jewels can be found.
