Huge square

Just when you leave Old Town through the Michels Gate, you arrive to this square. There is the big trinitarian church - we never found its gates open.

Hurban Square sits just outside the Old Town proper. It is an interesting square albeit not as attractive as the other squares in the city. Trinity church, Kostol Trinitarov is located next to the square along with St Martins Cathedral. Its a busy area with public transport passing through. Watch out for the trams that run frequently through the area.

Hurban Square ( Hurbanovo Namesti) is an interesting square and although not as beautiful as Hlavne Namesti or Hviezdoslavovo Namesti it does have some beautiful architecture with Kostol Trinitarian aka The Church of St Martha's as it beautiful centrepiece. The church aside there are some really grand and impressive buildings here and a few decent bars and restaurants so it's... More

This square is located next to the Kostol Trinitarov and slightly outside the old town proper. There are trams passing through so you need to pay some attention when taking photos. There's not too much to see so a short visit is more than adequate.

Most of the tourist groups would gathered at this little Square prior to explore further to other parts of the city, particularly the Old Town nearby. It was a busy area with public transportation including trams running along. The beautiful baroqued St. Marthas' Church was one of the important landmark in the Square.

This is a interesting square in as much as it has in my opinion one of the most beautiful churchers on Bratislava. The square is a little none descript but the church more than make's up for this. KOSTEL TRINITARIAN ,aka THE CHURCH OF ST MARTHA'S is a great baroque church and well worth visiting. It's a major tourist destination... More

Small Hurban Square is where you can see the Church of St. John Matha, otherwise known as the Trinitarian Church. The square itself is of little interest but the church is potentially worth a quick visit. The Trinitarian Church was buit between 1717-1725 and includes an expectedly elaborate interior, attractive dome ceiling frescos and various paintings, indicative of the Baroque... More
