I really loved this place, its a monument for Russian soldiers. The position its in is amazing, overlooking the city. Seeing all the Soldiers names on plaques is very moving. Great Place to take photos too.

We walked up all the way to the monument, not much signs to guide you through and very steep. It was worth , the monument is nice and the view from up there is nicer. Highly recommended

Tremendous views across the city. Very few people there so it's a good place for a quiet walk and think.

We took the 147 bus from the city centre. Remember to get a ticket for your return as there isn't a ticket machine at Slavin. It was a reminder of how it important it is remember the casualties of war on both sides.
