This museum should not be missed if you're in the area. It has a fascinating display of artefacts from World War I and II, especially from the Slovak National Uprising when the partisans and Jews fought back against the Nazis in 1944.

Very nice museum, you learn a lot about the war. They have all samples of the items from the second world war. You have to visit if you are in town

It is the Museum of the Slovak National Uprising (SNP). The museum specialises in documenting the development of the Slovak society in the wartime years 1938 – 1945. The building is symbolically divided into two parts linked by a bridge.

You will learn a lot about World War II while visiting this museum. Not so good for small children, graphic photos from holocaust.
