Castle Hill is a small, picturesque area of Veszprem filled with wonderful old buildings, churches, and a stunning view. It's a short walk from the main shopping area of town. It doesn't take much time to see it and it's definitely worth it for the...More

The old town of Veszprém and the castle hill is a really nice place to visit. 2 hours is enough for that including to have a drink in one of the nice bars around. It offers also great panoramic view to the city.

Veszprem was even not in our tourist guide, but what a nice surprise. If you are in the neighbourhood, do take a walk on Castle Hill, a fantastic and beautiful museum town, away from the crowds!

The so-called castle is not much of a castle when compared to castles in other countries. Great views of the city.

We always visit this great little gem when in Veszprem. Just walk down to the Old Town and you find yourself in medieval surroundings. After the amazing view from the Castle Hill, do not miss visiting Benedek-hegy, the dolomite cliff just under the castle. You...More
