I am not a shopping person. And this town, while beautifully preserved, is a shopping mecca (thus 1 star off). If you do need a gift, however, Blue Land Shop (on Alkotmany, u.8) is a real winner (5 stars). She can really tell the stories...More

Nice place with relaxed atmosphere, several reasonable price Hungarian restaurants, several shops mostly for souvenirs and several unique museums (Miniature Museum, marzipan Museum etc').

This was part of a day trip arranged by Viking Cruises and it was very enjoyable. There are many restaurants and small shops to visit plus some great little cafes. Well worth the time to visit.
