The Main Street of the city is full of shops cafes and terraces during the summer. It’s nice to take a walk and sit down for a meal or ice cream or beer somewhere.

We used Kárász utca during our stay in Szeged as a part of the shortest route between the Tisza Hotel our hotel and the Agora. The most notable features are the pair of bronze statues at the southern end - the violinist (which also appears...More

Karasz Utca is the main pedestrian street lined with picturesque buildings and overpriced cafes and restaurants. As Szeged is not as touristy as Pécs, most of the shops were typical ones found in many strip malls.

Karasz Utca is definetely THE street of Szeged. Impossible to miss it, as it takes you from Dugonics Sqare to Szechenyi Square, places you should have on your travel map. It's a street full of restaurants and pubs as well as shops.

The street itself looks pretty and nicely renovated. Harmonizing buildings and colours. I really missed that there is no souvenir shop nearby, where I can satisfy my need to buy fridge magnets and other completely unnecessary things. Despite it looks pretty nice there is not...More

I remember the streets 40 years ago and now. It changed for the better. There are several restaurants and new shops. Nice promenade that connects the two main squares - Dugonich and Kluzal Square.

This is the main street only for pedestrians in the heart of Szeged with lots of cafés, restaurants and shops. Not to be missed when visiting the town.

Generally boring as the city itself. Nicely arranged buildings, but strongly touched by monumentalism and schematism. If there surely pass by, but not worth special visit.
