If you want to have a good coffe, or beer, or just to stroll and watch the people, this is the right place. It is a pedestrian street full of bars, coffe shops. Nice buildings and almost all newly renovated.

Karasz Utca is the main pedestrian street lined with picturesque buildings and overpriced cafes and restaurants. As Szeged is not as touristy as Pécs, most of the shops were typical ones found in many strip malls.

Karasz Utca is definetely THE street of Szeged. Impossible to miss it, as it takes you from Dugonics Sqare to Szechenyi Square, places you should have on your travel map. It's a street full of restaurants and pubs as well as shops.

I remember the streets 40 years ago and now. It changed for the better. There are several restaurants and new shops. Nice promenade that connects the two main squares - Dugonich and Kluzal Square.
