Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice historical church in good condition. You have to pay a small entrance fee; you will get a four-sided wooden stick to open all doors in the building. Nice solution in the electronical-digital era Go to the crypt, you can find a recent columbarium with cinerary urns. It is not common in these days. Before leaving the church you can find a small museum with a couple of religious artefacts. Then follow the sign EXIT trough a small shop with fruit in preserving jars, souvenirs and good espresso coffee.

The interior and exterior of the Goat Church are far less interesting then the improbable story of why it was built.

Quick visit to the town from over the border in Austria and heard about this church. Very old and the story goes that a goatherd had a vision and persuaded the town to build the church. Go visit to read the full story and see the church for yourself.

Goat Church is located right in the city centre (Fo Ter) next to the Holy Trinity Statue. The church is built in a gothic style.

Beautiful sculptures and reliefs, and plenty of signage in Hungarian, German and English, including a multimedia (do people still use that word?) virtual visit.

This is a fascinating church , in the main square of the old town. It is said to have been founded by a goatherd. It has been given the unofficial name of "The Goat Church".
It has a chapterhouse, a columbarium in the crypt, and a former monastery attached. There is a small shop selling products from local monasteries.

The church is very nicely restored and gives nice view from inside and outside too.
There is no guidance but the lady sells candles inside is ready to answer your questions.

One of the best known church in the city. It is not only olda, but there are legends how it was founded - a goat was trying to get something out from the surface, and the goat herder found gold! He went to the city council, that he want to built a church, and he got a space but nobody believed that he was doing anything. This is a nice tale, but actually the benedikts began to build the church in the 13.th century. It was rebuilt several times and now it has a barock altar and a wonderful pulpit too.

Rendkívül szép régi templom a város szívében, érdekes kiállítással.
Really nice old church in the middle of the historic downtown with an interesting exhibition.

This coronation church is beautiful. What was also impressive, there was heard a quiet sacral music in this church in the interior of the church. Shape of the church is very unique, sofar I have not seen such interesting tower....
