Beautiful monument with stunning views. The best time to see this monument, if you want nice photos, is early in the morning. In the afternoon the sun is directly behind the monument which kinda ruins the pics. I also wish the kids weren't allowed to...More

Unlike Budapest, there are not that many statues in Esztergom allowing this one to really stand out especially because of its white color against a blue sky. But when you get close to it, there is nothing really special about the statue.

This statue is huge and beautiful but it’s the views of Slovakia and Hungary that make you want to make the effort to walk the property of the cathedral to see it!

The modern statue of Saint Stephen sits above the city among an ancient Fortress. Wonderful view of the valley below and the Danube River

A huge carved stone piece in excellent condition and is easily accessible from the Esztergom Basilica. The location also provides great viewpoints of the Danube and surrounding countryside. You have to take photos and it's free.

Great panoramic view at this spot to the river. A small nice cafe near the place. Worth to see the view if you already there.

Beautiful view of the Danube and the Slovakian border. With the Basilica in the background I can only imagine how the view is from the Slovakian side of the river- the relationship steeped in history.

Unfortunately, this sculpture is a bit disintegrating, it would deserve a quick fix until it is irretrievably damaged
