Don't hope to see any castle because it's only the ruins of that! On the other hand, the place is very historical, and the view is awesome!

A big, historical castle with a lot to see: viewpoints over Eger, catacombs and many different exhibitions like a prison exhibition. Easy to reach too.

The castle has top rate attractions inside it - from the animations of the castle's construction to the museum and audio guide - all top flight. Great view of the old town of Eger.

It is a must when you are in the town. The castle history exhibition is interesting and instructive. Buildings are beautiful, great views, nice walk in the fresh air. We liked the Gardonyi Geza Emlekmuzeum, too.
