Did you know that in Budapest ruin bars... … you can time travel into Hungary’s past with beers and wines? … you can buy artworks and homegrown vegetables? … you can understand the hungarian soul? We've followed the way how Budapest's ruined and abandoned downtown buildings turned into bars with special atmosphere and how the ruinpubs became one of the number one highlights of Budapest. Now they are the pulsating heart of Budapest, the gardens of creativity, cultural and civil hubs, the hidden artist caves, a mingle of everything what we love and what you will love about Budapest. Our tours are a spicy combinations of historical sightseeing, understanding contemporary budapest, discovering the art, design and fashion scene on the path of the ruin bars.

Attila is a man who has knowledge of, wisdom about, and passion for his city. I took the tour of the 8th district, and it was fascinating to learn about a neighborhood in the midst of seismic change. From stopping to explain the political message...More

We did two tours with Attila. One took us around the Jewish district and the other around District 8. This is Attila's own small company, and I've learned from tours in various European cities now that tours with the owners of smaller companies are inevitably...More

This was a real high spot of our trip to Budapest. Attila was an engaging and informative tour guide taking us to see street art which we would never have found and explaining to us about the history and culture of the city. Thoroughly recommended.

We did this the afternoon we arrived and I am so glad we did. What a wonderful and interesting tour. We had already walked past a few things and took real notice of these until Attila gave us the information. It's not a pub tour,...More
