A special type of real life "room escape game", in which not getting out but getting in is the goal. The goal of the mission is to get into the hiding place of an overthrown dictator and prevent him from taking his evil revenge. Pick good teammates...more
Friendly staff, lovely ambient, interesting puzzles and fluid storylines. Highly recommended!
We have been in approximately 15 escape rooms in Budapest and Dictator and Hangar 18 are among the best in our opinion.
80 minutes for the standard price is almost a steal ;).
My son and I visited here as a last minute whim yesterday. We didn't hold out much hope of escaping the room as we struggled to even find the venue.
For anyone trying to get there it is opposite the taxi place. Number 18.. big...More
We had a great moment doing the ‘Hangar 13’ escape room. It’s a great balance: scary enough to be fun without being frightening, hard enough and demanding without being demotivating and great quality without being too expensive (30 eur for 80 mins). It was our...More
Off the beaten path, this room offers not only a fun experience but also an excuse to get to the other side of the river in Budapest, which is quite a beatiful area. We played Hangar 18 with a group of four, which seemed like...More
Loved this escape room! Got lost in a different world trying to solve the puzzles. Me and my husband got out in 72 minutes, though we did ask for some hints. The guy explained the game before we went in and gave hints via messages...More
Me and my wife visited verem room and did the hangar 18 escape room, the easier of the two they had. We had a lot of fun, ended up bickering a bit! but thoroughly ourselves. Escaped in 72 mins with 4 or 5 clues.
we did the dictator room. Its great.
You get an hour and a half to complete a very challenging room. We went a couple of minutes over but the team at Verem let us finish as we were very close. Our team was only only...More
Did the games (both) with two friends. They were my first visits at an escape room. I immediately got excited about the two very original scenarios and the puzzles that needed solving. We completed both in time (80min!) without any hints, so it is possible....More
We were in Budapest visiting several escape rooms during one weekend. We decided to book Hangar 18 by Verem. We had the room booked on 18:00, unfortunately we were running 12 minutes late because of the streets being closed due to some sport event. We...More
It's a great escape room, one of the bests in Budapest. You need to go from room to room and there are tons of clues. So I think it requires more people (at least 4) to be able to solve the mystery. It is not...More
The historical center to a city with a multifarious and intricate past, Buda has some of the most outstanding buildings in Europe and an enviable natural landscape with stunning views onto the Danube. Centered around the Royal Palace, it provides a glimpse into the golden years of the Austro-Hungarian empire and the lives led by the aristocracy at the time. Matthias Church, beside the palace, hosted many
events attended by the royal family and was the chosen place for the coronation of Franz Josef, one of the Hungarian Habsburg kings. Having admired the palace and the church, a visit to Buda will be unforgettable by the stunning and memorable panorama over Pest offered by the seven towered Fishermen’s Bastion.
