I have looking for good escape games with a cinematic theme to them for a while now until I came across Team Escape. It was a far better experience than your average run-of-the-mill rooms where it is solely all about looking in the right places. This game is smart, entertaining and genuinely teamwork-based. If you are into movies you will... More

I tried many escape games in Budapest, and I can tell that this one gave me the best experience at all. Finally a game, that doesn't want to be scary, or too easy. You just have to get out of the room, but it isn't a simple task! It's not enough to be smart, it's heavily recommended to watch few... More

We were 5 and it was absolutely enough to win the biggest award in the world: Oscar! :D If you have a free hour and wanna spend it in... More

Do you like movies? Do you like games? Riddles? Having fun? Arguing with your friends? Feeling frustrated then possibly overcoming it? Do you thrive on success? Do you think you're clever? Or a moviebuff? Are you a fan of confined spaces or pretty ticking clocks? So, if you haven't answered 'yes' to at least one of these questions then you're... More

This was the first time we participated in this sort of activity, and we enjoyed it a lot. Clever and challenging riddles, and very nice game master. There was a slight miscommunication regarding the time of our booking and we had to wait, but it was very good fun.

Nice, clever riddles. It was the first room for us, so we were quite excited with the whole thing. But comparing to the other ones we visited afterwards, we realized that its atmosphere was really poor. On the other hand, the game master was excellent and, as mentioned before, the riddles were good.

Brilliant! Never done a trap game before so unsure what to expect... There were just two of us - doable with two if you communicate well and use each others strengths. But mostly this is aimed at 4 people - but don't let that put you off if you're a pair - go for it! Slightly hard to find but... More

I had never really heard about the real life room escape' games, but my wife thought it would be fun, so we booked the 'team escape - hollywood' game..Best idea ever! We did a quick search of reviews and discovered this was one of the more challenging escape games, so we weren't expecting to be too successful on our first... More

The game was interesting and most of the puzzles were good. We did the Hollywood room and up until about the last twenty minutes we were doing ok. Towards the end it got silly. The safe had a touch screen which had to be pressed and held to turn it on, which would not have been possible to know. Just... More

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
