Budapest Joyride adds a very unique flavor to Budapest's sightseeing and guide palette. The philosophy of this attraction is keeping it fun, spontaneous and random. That's why it doesn't even have fixed prices. It's a sightseeing and/or party tour in a 26 years old, communist, Russian classic car, the Lada 1200. The capacity is up to 4 people, and the tour includes a guide, one free beer/person, some useful and fun maps, a special hungarian dessert (Túró Rudi), and a totally customizable route ranging from classic sightseeing to a fully equipped party wagon, cruising in the night with crystal clear sounding, high-tech speakers. I would definitely recommend this to people who like getting to know locals, and trying their lifestyle in Budapest.

Despite being riddled with flu, Marcell, the owner-operator of Budapest Joyride, met me and my friend (both 32) on a chilly March afternoon to show us Budapest from a local's perspective. We took the 2-3 hour more casual tour, rather than the wild all-night tear...More
