The Veli Ben Baths are very good especially if you are looking at the benefit of the thermal waters! Quite small and crowded at times even if it is 90 ppl max Not very entertaining like most of the other big thermal baths in Budapest...More

Was going to the rudas spa down the road which I had visited before and was amazing, however it was a ladies only day so came here instead. Lacked a bit of ambience and was far less interesting, the dome old bath is pretty nice...More

Compared to some other spa locations and swimming pools across Budapest that one is less commercialized and here you can have a feeling that you're just a nearby guest or a local visitor. There are more smaller pools with different levels of temperature. The staff...More

We went as a couple on a Monday around 17.00. It was very quiet, about 25 people. The baths have been tastefully restored, very clean. The baths are not big, one large pool with four smaller off on each corner. Steam rooms and Solarium plus...More

Went on a friday afternoon, I think there we're about 40 people then. Quiet and clean place, except perhaps for the swimming pool which had some green stains on the side. Only downside is that there is not much choice in generale (e.g. 1 small...More

The Veli Bej baths are the best! Cheaper than other (two people->3500 forint for three hours), clean and very neat! Just a tip for the owners: a better check on long-haired women. No rubber caps were seen in the pools... :-(

Unfortunately, there is no separate entrance. I just double-checked by phone and you can only get a message once you've paid to get into the baths for a separate fee.

Most definitely and I would suggest going in the morning hours as you will get the feeling the baths are yours and yours alone! The evenings can get kind of crowded and you may have to wait to get in!
