Hungarian Herend porcelain is the finest hand painted porcelain in the world. Whether it is Dinner Service or figurines. Unbelievable quality and only people who are in 'the know' realise it!

As a Herend collector, with over 250 pieces, mostly animal figurines, a few tableware pieces, and a porcelain painting, I enjoy shopping at this Castle Hill location in Buda, and have purchased about 80% of my pieces here, at a Herend store in Pest, and...More

I got a set of tea cups and saucers. It's too beautiful to pick out from. It's a bit expensive, but totally worth it.

There are at least four of these in Budapest (I went to three). The largest and best is not too far from St. Stephen's. You will not see this range of Herend porcelain anywhere else, and the prices are better than in the U.S.

District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube,
with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The
Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica
stand out as two of the finest examples of
architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for
more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval
city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while
the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention
