What a scam. Charged me double and when I confronted, they said it was the ticket price when the actual price was listed literally in front of me. I will also be writing to their management.

Located just inside the Castle grounds, the museum is worth a short side trip if you have time!! Lots of agricultural information inside

The building is interesting from the outside but save your money and skip the museum. It is full of displays that look like they are from the 1960’s. Lots of taxidermy animals. Instead enjoyed park that surrounds it.

I just visited this place from outside, i did not go inside. the architecture is nice but not sth charming the same as other buildings in Budapest. anyway, if you are visiting Vajdahunyad castle it will be in your List.

I would think so.not a lot closed in Budapest over xmas.maybe closed xmas.day but would imagine you'll be ok Xmas Eve/boxing Day.well worth a visit for the architecture alone.enjoy
