It is said Gül Baba always followed the greatest Ottoman Sultan, Suleiman the Magnificent, and provided him with valuable advises. That is why the Sultan has shown his gratitude by constructing the turbe at such a magnificent place

The tomb is closed due to renovation works. I didn't find any information when it is going to be open again. It's seems they are making a big modern complex there.

It is entirely closed off for now while it is being restored and renovated. Don't climb the steep and picturesque road until it's finished.

Lovely views from this area, but sadly the tomb and gardens were closed and turned upside down for building works which the sign said would last some time.

When I went there it was all open. The statue, the terrace and the tomb were a very interesting witness to the Ottoman heritage of Hungary. I hope that I will be able to see it again next year. It is a shame that it...More
