We were certainly hot and bothered by the time we climbed up here but it was well worth it and didn't actually take as long as we expected. Lovely views of the river and Pest. A lovely free attraction to visit.

A bit of a hike up but it offers great views. Walk up is paved and there are plenty of places to stop and or sit. Shade too.

A hill climb that will get you sweating but take a few pauses on the way up from Gellert Hotel side and you will soon be at the top. The views are simply the best in Budapest.

Visiting this site is interesting form the historical perspective. However, if you are not a history buff, the panoramic vies of Budapest are amazing. The view is just incredible.
