Was fortunate to get tickets to the New Years Eve festivities at Erkel. After the operett (The Bat) we were served a glass of "champagne" and there were some choir singing outside together with a great fire works display. All in all a great way...More

Theatre was comfortable and warm, though the queue for the cloakroom was lengthy. Nutcracker performance was beautiful, just perfect for Christmas day .

Located just a little out of the city center this place is a short walk from the underground. The theatre itself is fairly nice. The operatic production that we happened to see left a lot to be desired however.
