This bridge took 7 years to build and was commissioned by a prince who couldn't cross the river between Buda and Pest due to it having been frozen over. The bridge connects the two sides centrally - on one side you are moments away from...More

A very historic and the oldest of the bridge in Budapest. Do walk across it and enjoy the view. Very photogenic.

The very 1st bridge communicating both sides of town. It feels special when you walk on it, enjoying the view of both sides of town, and the Danube in the middle. And it's enjoyable on broad daylight or at night. You can't go wrong.

This is one of the more impressive structures over the Danube and well worth a walk. Certainly more impressive at night. Ask a tour guide about the padlocks.

The bridges, especially the Chain Bridge, are a must when visiting Budapest. Walk across one and come back across another go back over another on the next day. Easy walkways, great views of the Danube and picturesque.
