Craft beer cruise

Great night, great view and brilliant beers. Peter who lead the beer tasting for us was great, helpful and friendly, top bloke. Recommend the porter and flying rabbit

This was a very disappointing experience. The cruise itself provides a great opportunity to see Budapest lit up in the evening and perhaps it's worth doing for that alone. The package sold was for wine tasting (7 different Hungarian organic wines and scones) combined with the river cruise. In our opinion (there were 4 of us), the wines were of... More

I dont usually write reviews but after the truly awful experience the cocktail cruise provided us with; I felt duty bound to forewarn others. Firstly, my girlfriend and I waited in the freezing cold for the group for 20 minutes. Then we were shown to the boat which was already full from tour groups that had arrived prior to us.... More

Definitely something great to do one evening! Music, drinks, and seeing the city, what more could you ask for! Service was great, Fodor Krisztian was very friendly. Definitely would recommend this!

We booked just for the music and folk dancing at the Duna Palota in advance, and it was quite expensive for what we got. The seats were comfortable but not a lot of knee room and people with hats on or big hairdo's got in the way of the view of the stage. Some great violinists and cellists as well... More

When we arrived at the meeting point, Fodor Krisztian was our guide to the boat, and to my surprise, he was also our waiter. I came with my two friends and didn't know what to expect other than a glass of champagne some live music. I don't think the experience would have been the same without Krisztian because he was... Me and my friends had a wonderful evening aboard the dinner cruise last month. The staff were very attentive and the atmosphere created was just lovely! There was a live band playing throughout the evening...and I t was two of my friends birthdays- they played many personal songs to help make it a brilliant night!

The show schedule gives us vision of the Hungarian culture, nothing more. But it was a very pleasant evening. The boat ride was beautiful by the Danube, with a full moon lighting the Budapest landscape. However, I must record the exciting presentation of the musicians on the boat.

As a foreigner, i did not understand a word of what they said. However that did not stop me from enjoying the music and theatrics. The story was pretty self explanatory and it gives you a feel of what traditional Hungarian music is like. The location is pretty central and the venue was well preserved and decorated. Definitely worth a... More

When visiting Budapest, we wanted to experience two things for nightlife: a gypsy music concert and a boat cruise on the Danube. So, when we found a gypsy concert dinner cruise, we thought we had hit the jackpot. We were quite wrong. First, the set up for the cruise was quite unusual. We had to meet at a random location... Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
