Me and my wife visited this casino several times, it changed owners in the last two years. This trip we went there three times and left there some nice amount of money, the least we could ask for is a service but I guess the manager thinks otherwise. We played for more than a hour and a half and asked... More

Last night a power-cut literally killed the entire casino, meaning a pitch black room! For a short time only the emergency signs were visible. Then the lights and the machines slowly "resurrected"! Mine didn't work for some reason and i lost my bet and had to wait 15 (!!!) minutes until a rude technician walked to me and fixed my... More

This a marvelous small Casino. Extremely well designed. You have to pay 15.00$ to enter but most of the times they will give you a 15.00$ chip and cofees are included. This keeps the clientèle classy. The others go to Las Vegas Casino not far from the Tropicana's where you have to pay for a coffee. Service is excellent. Try... More

They charge you 3000 HUF for the entrance giving you a chip that you supposedly will be able to play on any slot or table... Ok! We tried to play at the electronic roulette but didn't work. We asked the valet and she said that " she didn't know why but it wouldn't work with the entry ticket...". After we... More

You need to remember yo noting your passport on your first visit it register. Small and intimate place with slots in local Hungarian HUF currency as well as Euro currency. Stop by two times and was crowded in a sense all the machines were being used several people playing two machines at a time. Finally found a free machine and... More

A few days ago, my girlfriend and I wanted to go to this casino. The door was closed, and as it was a little after 7pm, so either they open late, or they've stopped their activity.

We visited the Tropicana casino and was quite shocked regarding their bad service level compared to other places in the city. My girlfriend that has a Moroccan origin was treated very bad in the bar and despite of two attempts to make an order (in the bar)I was finally the one that was the lucky one to be able to... More

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
