We took a walking tour of central Budapest, including the church/castle on the Pest side of the river. The guide used the subway to get around as well. He was funny, spoke perfect English, and was very knowledgeable and informative. Careful with the hike up to the church. We were there in September and it was hot and humid. The... More

I did the 3 and a half hour tour of Budapest highlights. It gives a great overview of the city and you are able to cover most of the sites on both Budim and Pest side. The tour is an an amazing value for money because you have public transportation tickets included and two pastries with a warm drink in... More

My wife and I visited Budapest in Hungary between the 7th-9th of January 2017. Our Walking Tour of the City was on Sunday morning and we were a little unsure what to expect. It was -17 degrees, bbbbrrrrrr. From the moment we arrived at the tour meeting point and were greeted by Tamas, our tour guide, we were instantly at... More

It was quite a cold morning but I definitely enjoyed the walking tour. Our guide, Balint, made sure to share his own experience of the city, which made it extremely lively. I would recommend to do the tour early enough during your stay so you get lots of tips to explore any places you likes further

This is our first time visit to Budapest, and thought a walking tour would be a good way to see the place and get our orientation. Our tour guide Brigit is knowledgeable, humourous, approachable, cheerful and speaks English beautifully. It was a very cold evening, but we were kept warm with mulled wine, and wine tasting thrown in. This is... More

Ensure you wrap up warm in the winter months. It was freezing. Gloves are a essential. Overall, it was a unique experience and I thouroughly enjoyed it.

Christy was extremely informative and friendly. She had a wealth of historial information plus interesting stories about Budapest. It was an enjoyable wine and strudel tasting. She was engaging and explain traditional food at the markets which was interesting! Well worth doing this tour to have an insight into the city which was fun!

Budapest has a unique history when compared to other Iron Curtain countries. This tour not just highlights that but helps guide you through it. It starts out in a room decorated with items from the cold war. Some of the items can be equated to what we had when growing up and some can’t. Our guide, Frank, knew the history... More
