I bought the entire package from the cooking school - breakfast, the walk through the Market and the class itself. The breakfast was great as the chef told me about some specialties which I never would have otherwise tried. Then as we walked through the Market, she pointed out different delicacies and spirits. We even met the market's "mushroom inspector."... More

Had such a fun time with Chef Parade, above my expectations! Lovely clean kitchen, all the ingredients and utensils were set up before we arrived. Very much a "hands on" cooking class. Sylvia our instructor was lovely and very helpful. Food was delicious and we got to take the leftovers home. Provided with Hungarian wine and a background to Hungarian... More

My fiance and I stumbled upon this course due to its affiliation with the Budapest Cards that we had purchased for the duration of our stay. We opted in for the breakfast and market tour as well, which was definitely worth the early wake-up! Anna toured us around the market and gave interesting historical facts about Budapest/Hungary along the way.... More

What an amazing experience - my mother and I came here to celebrate her birthday and our last day in Budapest and it was incredible! The school was very accomodating and we ended up with a private class with Brigi - learned how to make ghoulash soup, chicken paprikash, apple strudel and mulled wine! Emailed the reciples afterwards so we... More

This was my highlight from Budapest. I booked this 12 months ago for 12 people and it was amazing. We cooked 6 gorgeous dishes between 12 people. It was very organised and well prepared. We had such a good time and a good giggle. Our teachers were so helping and very patient and spoke very good English. I would highly... More

My husband and I did the basic three hour course and were the only ones there. Sylvie was very friendly and it showed the authenticity of the school when she made comments like, "This is how my grandmother made this dish." She also offered a taste of palinca and, after we mentioned wanting to try the famous Tocaji wines while... More

I've had lots of international cooking school experience and this one stands out as one of the most enjoyable. Numbers are kept low to maximize time with the Chef. What's described below highlights the Premium Experience (*). While I was completely satisfied with the extras it provided, others who opted to just participate in the regular program seemed equally pleased.... More

My sister and I were in Budapest for her birthday. We both love to cook and she found ChefParade. Our Chef was Barbara (a/ka Barbi). She was very personable, funny, informative and encouraging. We made a soup with paprika, sausages and sauerkraut. We added a dollop of sour cream to our bowls. We also made chicken paprikash and a pastry... More

This was one activity offered, as part of a several-day tour of Budapest - so instead of their usual 3 hours they did the class (including our eating of the results) in 1-1/2 hours. Nevertheless they did a fantastic job. The kitchen is beautiful, and the ingredients and instructions are first class. We were divided into teams and each team... More
