Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Kálvin tér is characterised by a lot of traffic - the few pretty buildings and statues are lost in the process. It is very easy to reach by public transport, e.g. by tram - so it is very important for tourists. There is also the church and the statue. And you can quickly get to the wholesale market hall from here.

Located near the national museum, is this very busy square, (named after the french protestant reformer John Calvin), very touristy, however still a nice place to hang out, there are many restaurants and cafes to tempt the visitor, especially at night when the place come alive.

So many squares; so few circles, octagons, triangles, or pentagons! This one dedicated to John Calvin.

Kalvin Square is a really nice square Pest side of the River Danube.
A square formed by some great looking buildings the most beautiful of which is Kalvin Square Reformed Church, a wonderful church building indeed, around the square are some great pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants plus shopping outlets, all in all its a great square to check out if you're planning a holiday to Budapest.

We passed through this large, busy city plaza, a couple of times each day during our stay in Budapest. This was because it was on the route between our hotel and the city centre area.
One reason why the “square” is so busy with people during the day is that it is a transport hub.
Located beneath it, is a large Metro underground railway station whilst at street level, there is a tram stop for several tram routes. Public buses also pass through the “square”. Lots of traffic flows through the “square” on the main roads and care is needed when using the pedestrian crossings.
The buildings surrounding the square are a mixture of old and new. At street level, these buildings are home to a variety of shops, offices, businesses and bank.
This city “square” which is actually neither square nor rectangular in shape is not necessarily of any great interest to tourists. However, tourists may find it a useful location to access various forms of public transport.

This is just another square in Budapest, not too far from the main market.
There are several eateries in the square, as well as a church.

Another of the stops for the hop on hop off bus. We visited Kalvin Square as part of the City Sightseeing Hop On Hop Off Bus Tours,

This triangular square is a boundary for three neighbourhoods, with universities close by.
