This is A Lutheran Church which looks very pleasing to the eye as a work of Architecture. Well located on Deak Teri Square and close to the Budapest Eye and other points of interest. Unfortunately, being a weekday the church was closed.

This museum has been recently renovated and we were fortunate to be given a tour by the designer. There are now several interactive exhibits which make a visit very involving. It certainly expanded our knowledge of the Lutheran church in Hungary.

It's amazing how this large building is so easy missed, although located in one of the biggest squares in Budapest. It doesn't look like a church when you just go by it, it takes some time to look around and realise what it is.

It's amazing how this quite large and white building is almost hidden, although right there in a plain sight, located in one of the biggest squares in Budapest. Not far from the St Stephan's Basilica, and righ in the city centre.

It was such a change to be in the simple environment of this open space church. First, it's huge. It is closed when you pass by, except when they're open. We were blessed to hear the organist practicing while we went through. I took a...More

We really enjoyed walking by this temple everyday while in Budapest. It doesn't seem to fit in the architectural design of the city, but it is unique and pretty cool looking.

District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube,
with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The
Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica
stand out as two of the finest examples of
architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for
more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval
city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while
the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention
