Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I am happy to announce that the Hunyadi ter (once a very unpleasant, still interesting) spot along World Heritage Andrassy boulevard has been renovated! Just a few days before the official opening, it looks fabulous! Full of green lawn, benches, a fountain and even a Music Pavilion for concerts! It looks like a nice place to relax, enjoy the shade of the old trees in summertime, meet with friends. The playground is an excellent location for small kids and bigger ones, too. The farmer's market (which offers lots of fresh produce, garden flowers, dairies etc) will also be renovated and should be ready by the spring of 2013. Come and enjoy the park, buy some fresh fruit or "langos" at the market, meet the locals at this unique location, which preserves the architecture and ambiance of the old Pest!

The Hunyady tér is the shame of the city, especially the Market Hall, it wasnt renovated since 1945, the stones are falling down, the tér is full with homeless people, dirty etc. I dont like to go there, however the market is good, with fine, fresh food.

Hunyadi tér is a beautiful park in Budapest District 6. Children playing, adults swaying on the variable fun and exercise solutions. There are 100’s of white bags standing upright surrounded with people seated on wooden benches and a film crew filming. I see all this from my first floor apartment window. Sounds of sirens now fill the air and cause me to look towards Andrássy Avenue and a cortége of gleaming motorbikes and police cars sweeps fast past, no doubt, escorting some dignitary to Heroes’ Square. Turning to the park the water fountain flows majestically upwards in ever changing evolutions. People with time to spare enjoying gentle pleasure on another ordinary April '15 morning in sun filled Budapest. It is all so beautiful.

Hunyadi ter is a hidden gem just stonethrow away from the busy "nagykorut" and Andrassy boulvard. The square was totally renewed about 3 years ago and now a pleasant oasis: farmer market every saturday, market hall, some cafes, people sitting on the benches, childre playing around....

One of the original 5 of the markets opened in 1897 and still in its as built condition and the exterior is showing its age. Supposedly being renovated but I saw no activity on this visit. Much smaller the the primary market on the Danube with similar recognizable traits. It was Friday morning and supposedly the busy time. Many of the stalls inside were not in use. There was a very active produce market across the street along the side of Hunyadi Park. The nice thing about visiting here is the lack of huge throngs of tourists and a pleasant neighbourhood.

Hunyadi tér is a small park where you can take a short break in the green. There is a fountain and a monument in memory of 1956. There are also a few benches. It is very green and offers a lot of shade, so it is very welcome in the summer.

A square lined with fine buildings and with a fine statue of King Matthias in one corner. Be sure to check out this square when you are in the city, it can be recommended to do.
